About The Company

Our Story

At Abicare, we believe that care can be reimagined to better meet the needs of today’s society. Our founder recognised the transformative power of care to enhance lives and contribute positively to communities.

Founded in 2006, Abicare has assembled a dedicated team of professionals who share a common vision: to revolutionise home care in the UK. Since our inception, we have made significant strides, including:

  • Opening five offices across England and Wales.

  • Introducing innovative technology for the elderly through our Abilink system, which led to the development of our intranet.

  • Creating industry-recognised, fast-track carer training programs—both six-day and two-day certifications.

  • Building a supportive community of carers who thrive in their roles.

  • Achieving a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) across all locations.

  • Launching an extensive e-learning platform that offers a diverse range of training courses, including our proprietary Abicare materials, to enhance the skills and knowledge of our carers.

Join us as we continue to redefine homecare and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Company Culture

Our employees

Only by having an excellent team can we offer the flexible Live-in care and Visiting care that we do. Abicare believes care is a career and, like teaching or nursing, is often a calling. That’s why, regardless of background or relevant experience, we provide our team with the necessary training, supervision and ongoing support they need to thrive. We don’t just want our colleagues to enjoy their care work, we want them to achieve their full potential and help us to achieve our mission.

Our values

We have 5 core values to help us achieve our mission – C.H.E.C.K

  • Committed: We are committed to providing an excellent experience at all levels of the business.

  • Honest: Develop an honest and open culture encouraging everyone to express their thoughts and opinions respectfully.

  • Empowering: Empowering individuals to develop and use their competencies to be ambitious in achieving their goals.

  • Collaborative: Develop a collaborative approach that is inclusive.

  • Kind: Be kind.

Company Benefits

At Abicare, we know you don’t become a care expert overnight. We start you off with an online training programme you can complete from your own home, but we don’t stop there.

You’ll complete two to six days of industry-standard training to get your care certificate. If you are new to care, you will shadow one of our experienced carers. As you learn the skills you need on the job, you will have extra training courses for your development and online training throughout the year.
