What We Are Looking For

  • HLTA Experience: Previous experience working as an HLTA, Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role, with the ability to lead learning independently.
  • Fluent Welsh Speaker: Fluency in Welsh is essential, with the confidence to communicate with pupils and staff through the medium of Welsh.
  • Primary Experience: Experience working within a primary school environment and a good understanding of the needs of primary-aged pupils.
  • Strong Classroom Skills: Confident managing a classroom, delivering learning activities and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • ALN Experience: Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs would be advantageous.
  • Adaptable & Proactive: A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and respond effectively to the needs of pupils and the school.
