As we continue to grow on and off the pitch, we are looking for a talented commercial professional to join our team and help us develop and deliver best-in-class partnerships.

The Role

This is a commercially focused role with a dual responsibility : developing new brand partnerships for Hashtag United, and delivering exceptional service and results for our existing partners.

You’ll play a hands-on role in the full partnership lifecycle — from prospecting and pitching, through to activation and reporting. Working closely with the club’s senior leadership team, you’ll ensure Hashtag United’s partners receive measurable value and unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and engage prospective local and global brand partners aligned with Hashtag United’s values and audience.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of partnership opportunities, helping convert conversations into signed deals.
  • Create tailored sales materials, proposals, and presentations that showcase Hashtag’s value.
  • Lead brand-facing conversations from outreach through to contract negotiations.
  • Consistently hit and exceed ambitious revenue targets.

Partnership Management & Activation

  • Be a key point of contact for existing partners, ensuring contractual rights are delivered in full
  • Work with partners to co-create activation plans that maximise impact across matchday, digital, and community platforms.
  • Deliver regular reporting, insights, and measurement to demonstrate ROI and strengthen renewals.
  • Weekly partner check-ins and relationship management
  • Internal & Creative Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Hashtag United’s content, media, and football operations teams to deliver engaging partner activations.
  • Ensure all partnerships feel authentic, creative, and aligned with the club’s brand identity.
  • Wider Commercial Support

  • Support broader commercial projects beyond partnerships, including :
  • Club retail and merchandise initiatives
  • Matchday and fan events
  • Community engagement and grassroots programmes
  • Development of new revenue streams (e.g., content, licensing, experiences)
  • Act as a versatile commercial team member who can contribute ideas and energy across multiple growth areas.
  • Market Insight & Strategy

  • Stay across sponsorship and digital trends, bringing fresh ideas into partnership conversations.
  • Input into Hashtag United’s broader commercial strategy, helping shape how we position ourselves to brands.
  • What We’re Looking For

    Experience & Skills

  • 2 - 4+ years in sponsorship, partnerships, or brand marketing (club, agency, or brand side).
  • Proven track record in developing and / or delivering commercial partnerships.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience building presentations and pitching ideas.
  • Solid commercial acumen with an eye for creative activations.
  • Self-starter and relentless desire to succeed. Role is critically important to growth of club and will require an individual that has a significant amount of self-motivation and work ethic to be drive success.
