An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator / Receptionist to join a SEND school.

A SEND school in which is situated in Gateshead is looking for an Administrator to join their team. This post is going to be a long-term position, starting as a temporary position.

As an admin assistant you will undertake :

• Reception duties, answering general telephone calls, face to face enquiries and signing in visitors.
• Assist with pupil first aid / welfare duties and liasing with parents.
• Assisting with arrangements for visits by school nursers, photographers etc.
• Assist in arrangements for school trips, events etc.
• Maintain Manual and computerised records.
• Sort and distribute mail.
• Undertake general financial administration such as processing orders, collecting money and undertaking basic book keeping such as petty cash.
