Overview
Thinking Facilities are looking for a Facilities Officer to assist the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks and support capital projects and developments. Your primary location will be based at Brixham College, however you may be required to travel to any of our sites within the hub. The successful candidate will be competent in all aspects of site maintenance and, as part of the site team, will manage our school premises and associated facilities to ensure the premises are secure, safe and well-maintained at all times to reflect the standards of education and behaviour within the school.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager with overseeing day-to-day tasks and support capital projects and developments.
- Manage the utilisation of the premises and associated facilities for educational and allied usage across The Thinking Schools Academy Trust.
- Maintain premises and facilities, ensuring security, safety and a high standard of upkeep at all times.
- Support the site team with caretaking and cleaning services as required.
- Assist with coordination of planned maintenance services and capital building projects.
Requirements / Qualifications
Previous experience as a caretaker or similar.Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning.Health & Safety management experience.Experience of working within an Academy / School is desirable.A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Full clean driving licence with access to own transport.What we offer
