Based at Whistls Fulfilment site in Wrangaton , we’re looking for a proactive SHE and Facilities Executive to take ownership of health, safety, environmental, and facilities standards. You’ll work closely with local management and central teams to drive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, and help our site operate to the highest standards. What You’ll Be Doing
You'll be the go-to person for all things health, safety, environmental, and facilities-related on-site. Your responsibilities will include :
- Lead daily site safety walks and champion a positive safety culture
- Plan and deliver toolbox talks, training, and safety campaigns
- Coordinate Fire Warden and First Aid checks and training
- Manage incident investigations and reporting, ensuring timely close-out and root cause analysis
- Maintain training records and local skills matrices
- Ensure compliance with RIDDOR and upload reports to Symbiant
- Partner with central safety teams to align on policy and national standards
- Conduct regular audits and self-assessments, identifying and acting on areas for improvement
- Act as Environmental Champion, driving recycling and sustainability initiatives
- Maintain and review site SOPs, safety documentation, and statutory records
- Support site security and business continuity planning
Facilities Management
Oversee contractor inductions and works sign-off, including RAMS and job registration formsPerform spot checks and audits across welfare areas and site facilitiesLog and escalate site defects through the Facilities Management system (E-Logs)Monitor contractor performance and drive quality standardsEnsure timely response to urgent facilities issuesBenefits

What Youll Need
NEBOSH Certificate (Essential)Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant HSE or facilities roleStrong understanding of safety legislation and best practiceConfident communicator at all levels, both written and verbalAble to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyIT-literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeDesirable
RTITB Accredited MHE InstructorIOSH / Level 3 Health & Safety qualificationAdditional
37.5 hours per weekFlexibility is required to meet the needs of a 24-hour operationOccasional support across all shift patterns, including weekends, may be necessaryTravel to other sites and off-site meetings may be required; a driving licence and own transport would be advantageousPlymouth, England, United Kingdom
