A well known, established and modern accountancy firm based in South Manchester that provides a range of general practice services for clients across the UK. This firm has an excellent reputation across the North West with a rich history of supporting a range of owner-managed businesses with a full catalogue of client services. With over 120 staff across two office locations in the North West, they have grown at a good rate in the last 3–5 years, making key hires in strategic areas including taxation, audit, advisory, transformation and corporate finance. Due to continued growth and a strategic plan to grow their tax department, they are looking to bring in a R&D focused tax professional who can help the current tax partner deliver on a range of R&D and corporate tax advisory work.

Your new role

As an R&D Tax Advisory Manager, you will help run and manage the R&D portfolio of the firm in the North West. You will work closely with the specialist tax partner to deliver on a range of clams, working closely with a mixture of owner-managed businesses across the North West and wider UK. A varied and exciting portfolio, you will spread your time across both R&D and other tax advisory matters across the firm, also getting involved with M&A, structuring, Due Diligence and MBOs to name a few. As well as getting involved in tax advisory, you will also get the opportunity to manage a corporate taxpliance portfolio as well as the above advisory work. This is a varied R&D role offering you the opportunity to manage and R&D portfolio whilst getting involved in a range of other tax advisory andpliance work.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need toe from a strong corporate tax & R&D background, having experience working with owners-managed businesses in the past. Ideally, you will be qualified ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA with the desire to get involved in a mixture of R&D advisory work.
