Live-in Caretaking Couple – Maintenance & Housekeeper

Location: Scottish Highlands (remote rural setting)

Principals based in London visit approx twice a year

Salary: £70,000–£80,000 gross (DOE)

Separate accommodation & car provided

We are seeking an experienced and reliable domestic couple for a brand new position caring for a recently renovated private estate set within 1,000 acres.

Role Includes:

• High-level housekeeping and laundry

• General maintenance, repairs, and grounds care

• Preventative upkeep to minimise contractors

• General security, overseeing the property when owners are absent

Details:

• Separate flat in renovated gatehouse

• No cooking required (chef generally accompanies family during visits)

• No other staff employed

• Approx.10 miles to nearest town

• Principals in very occasional residence

Ideal Candidates:

• Practical/handyman, ideally with building skills although not essential

Strong housekeeping standards

• Independent, proactive and organised

• Enjoy remote living

Working 5 days per week, max 40hrs, car provided on and off duty. Regret not suitable for dependents, pets considered.

Salary negotiable according to previous experience from £70k-£80k gross pa
