Overview

The Software Engineer will design and implement high-scale, high-volume services in the Business Layer, enabling secure and efficient AI-powered GOV.UK services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Node.js (TypeScript), AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless Framework, and Redis.
• Build secure, performant APIs and interfaces between the Business Layer and other government systems.
• Contribute to high-volume, high-availability workloads powering millions of GOV.UK citizen interactions.
• Collaborate within agile teams alongside product owners, architects, and engineers.
