Business Development Lead

Malvern

I’m currently working on behalf of a well-established, forward-thinking construction business to recruit a Business Development Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives on building strong relationships, identifying quality opportunities, and supporting strategic growth in a collaborative and values-driven environment.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Framework and Partnership Manager, this role is focused on generating a strong pipeline of opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting bid success. You’ll play a key part in expanding the company’s presence in both existing and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and manage a steady pipeline of good-quality project opportunities

Attend client and consultant meetings, ensuring all follow-up actions are completed

Respond to incoming enquiries regarding potential schemes via phone and email

Collaborate with pre-construction teams to ensure seamless handover of opportunities

Prepare reports and support internal pipeline reviews and strategy sessions

Conduct market research to identify trends, project leads, and strategic opportunities

Assist in planning and attending networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions
