Head of Operations — Greater London
An established B2B services business with operations across multiple client sites is seeking a Head of Operations to lead service delivery, improve performance, and scale processes in a fast-paced, field-based environment. This is a high-impact role for an experienced operational leader who thrives on driving efficiency, leading teams across multiple locations, and delivering results for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of multi-site operations — ensuring service availability, high standards, on-time performance, and cost control.
- Plan and optimise schedules, routing, and stock flows to manage peaks in demand.
- Use data and performance trends to identify priorities, implement solutions, and drive accountability.
- Champion continuous improvement, removing bottlenecks, standardising SOPs, and reducing waste.
- Lead site mobilisations, equipment rollouts, and supplier management.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety standards, carrying out incident reviews and corrective actions where needed.
- Deliver clear weekly and monthly KPI reporting to senior stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
Proven experience in multi-site operations management, ideally from hospitality (contract catering, QSR, hotels / F&B) or logistics (last-mile, field service, depot / site networks).Demonstrated success in improving KPIs such as service availability, on-time performance, waste reduction, and unit costs.A data-driven mindset — confident with Excel / Google Sheets and BI dashboards, able to translate insights into action.Strong stakeholder management skills with enterprise-level clients and service partners.Solid knowledge of health & safety (food safety awareness desirable).Full UK driving licence and comfortable with London / field travel.The Package
