Assistant Programme Manager

Overview

We are looking for an APMP, APMP or Prince 2 certified Programme Manager for an initial 6 month contract. This role will be mainly remote with occasional meetings in Bristol.

Job Details

Rate : Up to £750 per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company

Term : 6 months, extendable

Location : Remote with occasional meetings in Bristol

Role Duties

• Ideally Chartered member of APM
• Support the Programme Manager to plan the programme.
• Monitor and take corrective action to ensure it delivers key capability requirements and outputs agreed in Programme Plans.
• Assist in managing project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and opportunities that are used to direct and guide.
• Support in monitoring the synchronised delivery of subordinate projects, showing decision points and critical path activities.
• Help to manage inherent and arising risks, opportunities and issues to benefits realisation in configuration controlled baselines.

Qualifications and Requirements

Desirable : APMQ, APMP, Prince 2 certifications; ideally Chartered member of APM.
