About the Role

IMPACT EVOLVE have exclusively partnered with a leading 3PL to find a dynamic Operations Manager to lead day-to-day performance across their distribution centre.

This is more than a warehouse role, it’s an opportunity to bring structure, pace, and high standards to a growing operation. You’ll manage a team through a layer of First Line Managers, build strong relationships across departments, and take full ownership of service, cost, and compliance performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operational Leadership : Oversee the full operational flow - from goods-in to despatch - ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently and meets all SLA targets.

People Leadership : Manage and coach First Line Managers and their teams, building a culture of trust, accountability, and performance.

KPI & SLA Accountability : Take charge of core metrics like stock accuracy, pick success, OTIF, and cost-to-serve. Consistently exceed targets.

Resource & Peak Planning : Forecast labour requirements and execute plans that align with seasonal spikes, promotions, and client forecasts.

Stakeholder Engagement : Work cross-functionally and with client-facing teams to manage volumes, service expectations, and daily performance.

Continuous Improvement : Investigate issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes that drive quality and efficiency.

Health & Safety : Uphold a zero-tolerance safety culture. Lead audits, training, and protocol adherence.

What We’re Looking For

Experience leading warehouse operations in a 3PL or high-volume fulfilment environment

Proven ability to manage, coach & develop your team

Strong background in planning, cost control, and driving operational excellence

Able to communicate clearly and manage expectations with internal teams and external stakeholders

Health & Safety champion - ideally holding a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification

Calm, structured, and confident with a leadership style that combines empathy and discipline

What’s On Offer

Monday–Friday (8am-5pm), on-site role (5 days / week)
