Commercial Property Lawyer

A local authority shared service based in North-West London is seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Commercial Property Lawyer will advise on all aspects of property work to include :

• Simple and complex leases
• Housing stock transfers
• Acquisitions
• Secure and non-secure tenancies
• Deeds of variation
• Licences to assign
• Rent deposits
• Regeneration matters

You will deal with a full range of leasehold and freehold transactional work and provide advice for the local authority, housing, and school clients. The council offers a wide range of general advice such as investigation and resolution of title issues, land registration, squatters rights etc. This will be an all-encompassing position.

Candidates from both the public and private sector are encouraged to apply, but you must have experience dealing with a broad range of commercial property work. Local government experience is advantageous. A practising certificate is essential.

This is a hybrid working role and office attendance will therefore be required.
