Collections Officer

Salary up to £32,000 based on experience (Office based Mon -Fri)

Our client is a privately owned , long established and respected financial services provider based in Rotherham . Specialising in secured loans ,mortgages and debt consolidation products .They are known for taking a manual , customer -centric approach to lending decisions .The organisation is FCA regulated and committed to treating customers fairly .

The Role

To implement the company's collections strategy supporting and providing appropriate solutions to all customers in financial difficulties.

Key Skills / Experience needed

Previous debt collection and / or call centre experience would be desirable but not essential

Excellent customer service

Strong communication and empathy skills

Organised ,detail -focused and resilient

Calm under pressure and able to handle difficult conversations

Good IT Skills

Comfortable in working in a structured environment
