We're currently recruiting dependable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team based in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company offering a supportive working environment and a modern fleet.
Dudley
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe delivery of steel products, typically making just 1 to 2 drops per day.
Your duties will include:
✅ Operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
✅ Delivering steel products and securing loads using ratchet straps
✅ Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
✅ Accurately completing delivery and collection paperwork
✅ Complying with Drivers' Hours, WTD, and tachograph regulations
✅ Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
✔ Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
✔ Valid Driver CPC Qualification
✔ Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations
✔ Strong commitment to safety and compliance
✔ Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
