We have an opportunity for a Instrument Coordinator to join their team of staff in theTheatre department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Oversee the preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation liaising with internal decontamination services and external hospitals where required.
Ensure all instruments are clean functional and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner to meet daily theatre schedules.
Assist in the ordering rotation and replenishment of theatre consumables ensuring alignment with Circle Health Groups preferred suppliers and procurement policies.
Support the theatre team in delivering seamless surgical services contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Work closely with theatre practitioners sterile services procurement and external providers to ensure clarity and continuity in equipment and stock availability.
Ensure all instrumentation handling complies with hospital policies infection prevention protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience working within a theatre environment or clinical support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.
Basic understanding of infection control instrument handling and decontamination processes.
Good communication and teamworking skills with a professional and reliable approach.
