About the role
You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a PE-backed organisation that is committed to delivering outstanding experiences for both customers and employees. This role involves managing accounting activities across multiple legal entities, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality financial information. Your work will provide valuable insights that contribute directly to Kerv’s profitability, while also maintaining robust control over corporate and statutory compliance.
Your Part to Play
You will be responsible for leading the Management Reporting and Financial Accounting & Control functions of our centralised Finance Team, reporting to the Group CFO.
Leading a team whose core responsibilities include :
Management Reporting
- Prompt and accurate preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts for each entity and group consolidation
- Analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts by entity
- Drive to standardise and automate processes and systems, eliminating manual interventions as far as possible
- Lead the implementation and development of financial systems
- Responsibility for the preparation of annual financial and statutory account statements
- Develop and implement efficient and effective internal controls in accordance with best practice.
- Provide technical accounting expertise on various matters including revenue recognition etc.
- Act as the key interface point with the company auditors
- Responsibility for taxation including the filing of returns and R&D tax claims
- Preparation and support for an exit transaction

Qualified accountant, ACA / CIMA with significant amount of post qualification experience in industry and of leading a finance team.Past experience in the IT / telecoms sector would be preferential as would experience of working in a Private Equity environment.Experience of business integration and systems deployment will also be beneficial.A leader with excellent people management capabilities who can drive the teams and individuals to achieve challenging goals and deadlines.Uncompromising in the production of quality information in a timely and accurate manner.Ability to take the initiative and drive change to support improvement.
