Director, Leveraged Finance Lawyer

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a leveraged finance lawyer, who is seeking an alternative to private practice. You will move away from the transactional side of law becoming a subject matter expert in the leveraged finance space in an analytical way. This role will appeal to lawyers who enjoy the academic side of law more than they do the execution aspects, and who are also seeking a better work / life balance.

The core focus of the role will be analyzing the covenants in leveraged finance deals and related market events with a view to producing user-friendly reports for a wide range of clients.

A keen eye for detail, deconstructing complex issues and excellent writing skills are necessary for this position. You will have a deep understanding of the leveraged finance market and extensive experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing leveraged finance documentation.
