Environmental Manager A leading tier 1 nationwide civils contractor is seeking an experienced civils biased Environmental Manager to join their business. The Environmental Manager will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Head of EnvironmentalAbout the role of Environmental ManagerThis tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in large complex civils projects ranging up to £500M. Sectors include rail, highways and heavy infrastructure schemes across the UK. The role of Environmental Manager will be joining an immediate team of three people and be based across their sites in the Midlands, Wales and North West.Responsibilities for Environmental ManagerEnsure the business complies with Environmental legislation and standardsConduct both site and internal auditsWorking closely with and building relationships with key clients and Stakeholders Requirements for Environmental ManagerPrevious experience within the construction industry and a similar role is fundamental,Relevant degree or qualification within either construction, Ecology or environmentalKnowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO50001 OR ISO20400 What we offer for an Environmental ManagerOffering a competitive salary and package for the ideal candidate, with an incredible opportunity for professional development and exposure.
