Job Summary
Location : Leamington Spa
Contract Type : Permanent
Reporting Line : Technical Manager / Team Leader
Work Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What You Will Do
Work with Altair’s strategic Aerospace & Defence clients to solve problems, create value, improve growth, and maximise business efficiency and profitability through the implementation of Altair’s product offering.
Performance Areas
- Work closely with Account Managers throughout the sales cycle : from the strategy and account planning to the post-sales phases.
- Deliver technical content to customers including presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations for both long-term and short-term opportunities.
- Establish a long term and sustainable relationship with the assigned accounts, aligning Altair solutions with the client’s key business initiatives. Be viewed by the customer as their trusted advisor and point of contact for all technical activities. Meet new people and find new contacts to expand our footprint at new and existing customers.
- Identify areas of opportunity at the account to displace competition, add products, add users, and expand usage globally.
- Be the voice of the customer by taking their key requirements to the Altair product development teams, influence Altair product roadmap and drive competitive solution positioning.
- Contribute to account-based marketing strategies, drive technology deployment and adoption including partner solutions.
- Use technical product knowledge to identify customer pain points, assess technical needs, understand customer’s current infrastructure and engineering workflows.
- Create and deliver compelling demonstrations of Altair’s solutions to add value to a customer’s business.
- Where required, provide customers with training on Altair’s products.
- Stay current with the latest software releases and work with the software team to help guide future product development.
