NES Fircroft are partnering with our major Engineering & Services client to provide a Process Instrument Design Engineer for a major nuclear project based out of Warrington. Hybrid working, 3 days in the office per week. 2-3 year project! Mon-Fri minimum 37hrs per week.
Overview :
To work within the Silos PFCS Supporting Projects E&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.
The project is working on a major nuclear SEP project. Likely to be 2-3 years' work.
Qualifications and Required Experience :
Academic Qualification : HNC minimum / Degree in relevant E / I Engineering discipline
Professional : Incorporated Engineer
Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a Process Instrument Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards.
Undertaking design assurance activities
Providing support to Construction
Providing support to Commissioning
Project management fundamentals
Willingness to develop early career engineersDesirable :
Security Clearance
Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as an Instrument and Safety Design Engineer on external and / or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate SL Engineering Standards.
