Primarily you are responsible for providing a quality service, by handling client excellence. You'll work collaboratively with the expert Account Executives in the office to achieve common goals. How You'll Make An Impact
- You will obtain renewal terms for your customers and explore alternative quotations before producing a final presentation for account managers to discuss with customers. You are the expert; your team will rely on you to have the knowledge.
- Produce market presentations where required and negotiate terms with insurers
- Check insurer documentation for accuracy and provide to the customer within certain timescales
- Take care of insurer queries and ensure customers feel their needs are handled efficiently; assist with customer queries, liaise with insurers regarding potential changes and new terms for policies. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ensure all account admin is taken care of - confirming cover with relevant insurers, processing policies and chasing outstanding documentation when required. Be highly organised and work toward a plan.
- Secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers and check prior to approval and release by Account Executive; you are the main point of contact for this account.
- Deal with account queries and credit control matters, highlighting any concerns to account managers, and apply relevant legal and regulatory policy as required
- Keep track of monthly budget and income
- Work in conjunction with your account handler—providing guidance and training
- Be prepared to assist others within your team as and when required
- Comply with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for the role, including managing client information, whistleblowing, and treating customers fairly
About You
Corporate experience is vital along with motor fleet experience. Previous experience in the insurance industry is critical, as is working to targets within a regulated environment.Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyd’s and Industry) products, services, and good understanding of underlying legal principles and practices related to risk within the role.Risk awareness in handling customer information, with strong customer service focus and the ability to identify potential risk / issues and seek advice when required.Due diligence and process-driven approach to deadlines, with strong planning and analytical skills; high accuracy and attention to detail.Eligible to work in the UKCompensation And Benefits
