Turning Point, working in partnership with Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest and Antidote, provide the City and Hackney Recovery Service which works with local residents concerned about their drug and alcohol use. The service works across City and Hackney neighbourhoods to be accessible, local and inclusive. The fully integrated service contributes to recovery, social inclusion and improving the quality of life of all our service users in the City of London and Hackney borough. It aims to be shaped by the community needs and voices of service users, carers, families, communities, all staff and volunteers.

Role Responsibilities
As the Assessment and Engagement Team Leader within the City and Hackney service you will be managing the front end of the substance use service, overseeing a busy team of recovery workers supporting individuals into treatment. You will provide line management to a number of staff and support them to deliver high quality psychosocial interventions leading to positive engagement for onward allocation to the various teams within the service.
You will have experience in working with substance users and understand meeting regulatory requirements within the service. You will work in partnership with local and national organisations to support the service, and collaborate with other managers and staff across the service. Exceptional organisational skills are essential for this pivotal role in a very busy service.
