is seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a reputable client in the Bridgwater area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators who take pride in their precision and independence.

Location : Bridgwater, Somerset

Pay Rate : Up to £15 an hour

Contract : Temp - Perm

Hours of Work

Monday -Thursday 7am

4pm Friday 7am

1 : 30pm

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes, milling machines, grinders) according to engineering drawings and specifications

Load raw materials and tooling into machines and perform basic setups

Monitor machine operations to ensure production standards are met

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines

Inspect finished products using measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models

Identify and troubleshoot machine or quality issues

Maintain accurate production records and documentation

Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards

Requirements :

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Familiarity with measuring tools and quality control procedures

Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail

Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programming (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Flexibility to work shifts or overtime if required
