CNC Sliding Head / Programmer / Setter / Operator

CNC Recruitment is seeking talented CNC Sliding Head Programmers, Setters, and Operators to join our client in Chard area – a well-respected engineering company in the Southwest region.

About the Role :

You will be joining a busy and modern precision engineering environment, working with sliding head CNC lathes (Citizen and Star machines).

Location : Chard area

Salary : Up to £36,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours : Choice of 5-day week (39 hrs) or 4-day week (39 hrs)

Contract : Full Time & Permanent

Key Responsibilities :

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC sliding head lathes
• Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
• Conducting first-off inspections to maintain high-quality standards
• Maintaining high levels of productivity and precision
• Continuously improving skills in a supportive and dynamic team environment
