A&P Tyne – Document Controller 12 months Fixed Term Contract

We\'re looking for someone who is detail oriented with a passion for precision. Our quality team are forming a vital part of our mission to deliver a specific project to our major fabrication, defence sector customer over the next 12 months. We are looking for a Document Controller to join us in this key role managing and organising critical engineering documents. A great opportunity for someone who is familiar with document management within a detailed quality management system.

Responsibilities

• You\'ll support the Quality Manager to ensure that project manufacturing records are compiled and maintained throughout project lifecycle and collaborate cross functionally to maintain document accuracy
• Facilitating progressive document review, you\'ll be compiling and approving MRBs (manufacturing record books) throughout the project lifecycle
• When it comes to document registers, you\'ll control and maintain them, including the project welding database
• Prior to client inspections you\'ll compile and forward evidence packs to our site based customer
• You\'ll review documentation status against project status as well as notifications of inspections before they are submitted
• Reviewing internal inspection requests, you\'ll check for accuracy
• Reports generated during manufacturing will be collated by you to strict deadlines and you\'ll check that they are legible and retained within the MRBs
• You\'ll complete and submit weekly status trackers

These restrictions mean that factors including your nationality, any previous nationalities you have held, and your place of birth may limit those roles you can perform with us.

You must also undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check before your employment starts, which will include a basic DBS check.
