Job Summary

Manages Senior Research Consultants, Consultants, Managers, and Research Associates in supporting consulting projects. Responsibilities include performance management and career development planning. Coordinates with senior management to allocate resources and ensure appropriate workloads. Acts as project lead and / or strategic lead, providing technical and strategic insight into client-facing projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of health economists from new associates to senior level team members, including :
• Ensuring employees adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensuring employees meet organizational expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal achievement
• Supervising and mentoring a proactive team, including assisting with hiring and training staff as required
• Supporting the learning and development of the team through formal and on-the-job training, advice, and coaching
• Act as a technical and strategic expert in health economics, e.g., global economic modeling, data analysis, and local HTA submissions, including :
• Leading projects and programs of work, acting as the primary client contact when required
• Serving as a strategic lead, ensuring the project's strategic direction and working closely with the project lead, modeling lead, and client to determine suitable approaches
• Ensuring high quality of all client deliverables
• Overseeing the development of economic models, submission dossiers, data analysis plans, reports, research abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
• Assist with operational budget and financial responsibilities of the department
• Help plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish work, meeting utilization goals
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output
• Foster teamwork, unity, and effective conflict resolution, appreciating diversity and supporting cohesiveness
• Contribute to business development through activities such as :
• Writing, costing, and quality checking proposals
• Marketing outreach activities, including blog writing, seminar preparation, and delivery
• Preparing submissions for and attending relevant conferences
