SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Whalley Range | November Start

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly respected and inclusive primary school in Whalley Range , seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role (8 : 30am – 3 : 30pm) begins in November and focuses on providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through one-to-one and small group interventions.

The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is celebrated for its nurturing ethos and inclusive approach to education. You’ll be part of a collaborative and welcoming team that values the contribution of skilled support staff in driving pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities
• Support the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor progress
• Adapt support strategies to meet evolving pupil needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
