Job Description

Job Title : Children’s Home Manager

Location : Portsmouth

Salary : £60,000 per annum

About the Role

We are recruiting for a passionate and driven Children’s Home Manager to lead a beautiful 6-bed residential children’s home. This home is not designed to run at full capacity, but instead to focus on meeting each child’s needs individually . You will work alongside a highly experienced Responsible Individual who will provide strong support as you develop in your role.

This is an exciting opportunity for either :

An experienced Registered Manager seeking a fresh challenge, or
A Deputy Manager with the right knowledge, leadership skills, and ambition to step up into a Registered Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards

Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive

Recruit, manage, and develop staff to deliver outstanding care

Work collaboratively with the Responsible Individual and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people
