Role
WeDoData are working exclusively with a group of independent schools in London who are in an exciting stage of growth. They are due to open their first secondary school this September. They are now looking for 2 experienced IT Technicians to join them at two different sites in London.
The role
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing IT support to staff and pupils within a school environment, and managing IT equipment, software and resources. This is a 1st & 2nd line support role, with support from a wider trust level IT team where you can escalate higher level IT issues. During school holidays you will also have the opportunity to get involved with IT projects.
Requirements
You will need proven experience of working in IT within the education sector for 2 years minimum. The school is an Apple school, so experience working with Apple products is highly desirable (though not essential), including MacOS, iOS, Jamf Pro, Jamf School and Apple Classroom.
Experience with basic networking protocols is also needed, including patching, VLANs and network troubleshooting.
With the growth of the trust and multiple projects ongoing, the trust is looking for a self-motivated individual who can manage their own workload in a timely manner.
In return
This is a great opportunity to work in a reputable group of growing schools, with the chance to make the role your own and manage your own workload as the prep schools go-to IT person.
You will receive a salary of £27,000 - £32,000, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, free school meals in term time and CPD opportunities.
