Job descriptionRead and interpret shop orders and engineering drawings to complete jobs accurately Set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, shape or straighten plate and sheet metal Verify dimensions using precision tools (calipers, protractors, gauges) to meet spec Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance before / after shifts Adjust settings (speed, feed, backgauge / path) for safe, consistent, high-quality output Test and fine-tune machine operation using gauges and hand tools per product spec Inspect finished / assembled parts for conformance to quality standards Process and update shop orders within the ERP system Follow all H&S procedures and wear required PPE Report equipment issues or quality concerns promptly to supervisors
