Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Designer
Start Date : Subject to Clearance
Duration : 12 Months
Hybrid Working Available - 2-3 Days A Week on Site
Hours of Work : Up to 40 Hours Per Week
Role Information :
- Deliver electrical / control and instrumentation designs that address defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle, to a high standard.
- Ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle, liaising with other discipline areas to ensure overall design intent is maintained.
- Ensure compliance with Company Assurance Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) and statutory requirements.
- Ensure application of standards is proportionate and that engineering best practice is adopted.
- Elevate areas of concern to the relevant Principal Engineer.
Qualifications / Experience Required
ONC / OND or equivalent in electrical engineering or other related discipline.HNC / HND or equivalent in electrical engineering or other related discipline.Skills
Working knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to electrical engineering.Competent in standard office software, and engineering tools and applications.Knowledge of legislation and standards associated with nuclear and / or high hazard facilities.Experience
Producing control and instrumentation designs as part of a multi-discipline design team.Experience of working in a highly regulated environment (preferably nuclear and / or explosives).Seniority level
