As a Nurse your key duties include :
Providing a high standard of care to people with learning disability and personality disorderDeveloping therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagementFollowing all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practiceContributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progressAccepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic settingWorking as a Primary Nurse / Care Coordinator for an identified group of patients whilst consistently working within the clinical governance frameworkThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Knowledge of the Mental Health ActPatient centric & commitment to delivering high quality careFine tuned decision making skillsExcellent organisational capabilityEffective communication skillsFlexibility and a strong "can do" attitudeThe successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £37,386 per annum.
