Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN / RNLD) – New Dawn Ward

Overview

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will be working 38.5 hours per week, on a shift pattern of 7 : 30am–8 : 00pm and 7 : 30pm–8 : 00am. Week 1 : Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week 2 : Wed, Thu, Fri. This is for Cygnet Hospital Ealing, on New Dawn Ward.

New Dawn Ward is a 9-bed specialist Tier 4 service providing treatment, care and support for women with a personality disorder who are ready to engage in therapy. Cygnet Hospital Ealing offers a welcoming, non-institutional environment and personalised treatment for service users with eating disorders or personality disorders over two wards.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collaboratively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals
• Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and Healthcare Commission guidelines
