Out of School Club Manager

Responsible to : Out of School Clubs Coordinator

Rate of Pay : £10,392.99 per annum / £14.21 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) (FTE £26,222.92 per annum)

Hours of Work : 19.25 hours per week, term time only

Working Hours : 3pm 6.15pm, Monday - Friday plus 3 hours non-contact time for preparation, planning and admin.

Contract Type : Part-Time, Permanent

Work Base : Belper Long Row Primary School

Purpose & Scope

To be responsible for the management and delivery of a safe, caring, and enriching out-of-school club environment in which children can enjoy healthy food, stimulating activities and be made to feel welcome and cared for by a dedicated staff team.

This will include taking responsibility for :

• The effective and smooth operation of the breakfast / after school club, with the needs and interests of the child as the first priority.
• Managing staff and maintaining a healthy, creative, and effective team culture.
• The oversight of the organisational requirements of the club, ensuring that the club is served by accurate and up-to-date record keeping.

Maintaining close communication with the Out of School Club Coordinator, and with the Head of Children and Families Outreach when required. Including reporting safeguarding / child protection concerns.<...
