CNC Machinist

The Company

Our client is a leading well-established Engineering company. They are a market leader within their field. Due to sustained growth, they are now looking for a CNC Machinist on a permanent basis.

The Role

• Setting up and running jobs using information from engineering drawings.
• Operating and program CNC machines.
• Ensuring machine safety guidelines are being followed.
• Ensuring correct PPE is always worn.
• Being responsible for the production and scheduling of work.
• Monitoring product standards and supporting quality-control procedures.
• Maximising productivity, minimising downtime of machines.
• Providing daily / weekly / monthly performance reports and analysis as required.
• Ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the machine shop.
• Role is working 4-day week Monday-Thursday 07 : 00-16 : 45 however this will then progress to 45-hour week and 2 shift pattern 07 : 00-19 : 00. Then repeated on nights 19 : 00-07 : 00.
