Broadcast Intern - Virgin Radio

This is an opportunity for somebody looking to break into radio production who wants three-months’ paid work experience at Virgin Radio. You will be working on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show as a Broadcast Intern.
Virgin Radio is a once-in-a-lifetime place to be – top names, top music, working at the top of the News UK tower looking out over London.
Virgin Radio UK is the home of The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, The Ryan Tubridy Show, Jayne Middlemiss in the afternoons and the Ricky Wilson Drive time show.
Other stations in the network include Virgin Radio Anthems - home of the legends; Virgin Radio Chilled – with music to kick back to; Virgin Radio 80s Plus - playing the best 80s music, and the summer pop-up station, Virgin Radio Pride for the LGBTQI+ community.
Your Role
You will learn how to craft brilliant ideas ready for broadcast on one of the country’s leading radio stations, while also supporting the country’s leading producers in researching stories, developing new ideas as well as researching and booking guests for future shows. You will assist with all production tasks required to make a daily live radio is no better first step into radio production than this.

This role is working on the Breakfast show so please note you will be required to work early mornings. This role is on-site in the London Bridge Studios.
