Cover Supervisors – Secondary School – S75 (Barnsley)

A secondary school in the S75 area of Barnsley is looking to appoint confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support teaching and learning across the school. The roles are available immediately, with both part-time and full-time positions on offer.

About the Role :

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher to :

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and keep pupils on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Create a positive and focused learning environment

Support pupils across a variety of subjects

About You :

The school is seeking individuals who are :

Confident communicators with strong classroom management skills

Adaptable and able to work across different subjects and year groups

Ideally experienced in a school setting, although full training will be provided

Interested in working with young people and helping them achieve their best
