Job description

Mechanical Fitter

Location- Widnes

Salary : £42,000 – £44,000 per year (with scope for pay rise based on performance)

Hours : Monday to Friday, Double Days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer in Widnes who are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Fitter to their engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business that invests heavily in staff development and training.

  • Repairing and maintaining a wide range of equipment including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic valves & equipment
  • Fabrication of parts for the plant and carrying out welding tasks (MIG & Stick welding)
