MD at HRG - Sales & Marketing Recruitment Specialists

This role will require 3-4 days a week in our clients West Midland HQ.

We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Marketplaces to lead our clients growth across Amazon, eBay, B&Q, and other key platforms.

You will take ownership of the marketplace strategy end to end, driving revenue growth, brand visibility, and P&L performance. This includes identifying new marketplace opportunities, optimising listings and pricing, managing promotions, and delivering strong commercial outcomes. You will also build and inspire a high-performing team, collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure seamless operations, and manage key marketplace relationships while tracking and improving KPIs such as traffic, conversion, and ROI.

What we are looking for :

7+ years of eCommerce experience, including 3+ in a senior marketplace leadership role.

Proven track record of scaling marketplace revenue and managing large P&Ls.

Deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems (Amazon, eBay etc.) and related tools.

Strong analytical skills and experience with performance marketing and data platforms.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
