Senior Product Manager - Streaming
Understands customer needs and translates them into product requirements and user stories while ensuring products deliver value to its target audience. Manages product initiatives and, working with peers and stakeholders, develops the product strategy. Prioritises backlogs and act as the bridge between customers, developers, and wider stakeholder groups.

The role
Owns the product roadmap, backlog and prioritisation for a specific product or feature set within the broader product portfolioUnderstands and communicates customer, market and business needs clearly and concisely to relevant teams across the businessCarries out user and market research to ensure their products remain relevantRepresents customers, the business and Product Management in project and delivery meetings and ceremonies, as requiredManages and influences peers and stakeholders through compelling and concise storytelling and communicationTranslates user needs to features, prototypes, user stories and marketing stories – provides clear and concise specs to developers and engineersConducts QA checks to ensure features are built by developers according to specs (accepts or rejects)Represents products at user testing sessionsResponsible for setting success metrics and reviewing measurement of KPIs with Data and Insights and other relevant partiesCommunicates product vision, roadmap and progress to wider stakeholdersRelentlessly negotiates and communicates changes to priorities stakeholdersManages products throughout the entire lifecycle (design, build and run), and ensures value creation through developmentMakes bold decision, including sunsetting and / or maintaining products, if and when appropriateThe person
Excellent communicator, both written and oralAbility to distil complex information quickly and conciselyUnderstanding of customer and market analysis and associated methodologiesAbility to identify and assess strategic positioning of products to maximise market share and profitabilityProficient in budget and product performance forecastingCuriosity : Remains the problem space when others have jumped to solutionsProven ability to gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into user stories and actionable product featuresProficient with product lifecycle management tools and techniquesStrong understanding of user-centred design and agile methodologiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with developers, data scientists, engineers and service designed teams alikeKnowledge & Experience
