Junior Analyst, Convertible Bonds

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Convertible Bonds team as a Junior Analyst on an initial 2-year fixed term contract . In this position, you will play an important role in supporting the team and gain experience in the asset class. You are expected to have strong mathematical and analytical skills to help support the team on portfolio administration across our funds. The role will also develop into equity and credit analysis contributions to the team.

Throughout the fixed term contract there may be the opportunity to complete formal training in financial modelling and pursue professional qualifications such as the CFA designation.

Our team is among the longest standing at Redwheel with decade long track records. We manage 3 strategies and have recently launched an additional innovative product in the asset class that we believe to have significant growth potential.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining spreadsheets to monitor exposures / pricing
• Helping with month end reporting
• Assisting with fundamental research on names
• Building and maintaining financial models for company valuation and ongoing investment monitoring
• Organizing and maintaining proprietary data, documents and research tools
• Assisting in the preparation of materials for meetings with clients, company management teams and internal stakeholders
• Assisting in fund administration and record keeping as required
• Providing broader support to the investment team.
