Senior Support Worker Children

A2B Social Care have a superb opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader to join the team in a small, nurturing 3 bed residential childrens home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Nuneaton.

The home has 1 child in place and has recently achieved GOOD on first inspection.

About the role :

The successful candidate will work alongside the Deputy and Registered Manager to ensure high-quality care, safeguard children, and lead shifts effectively. You will act as a role model for the team, providing guidance, support, and stability to both staff and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shifts, ensuring all aspects of the homes daily routines and care delivery run smoothly.
• Provide direct care and support to children, using trauma-informed approaches to promote emotional, physical, and social development.
• Assist with care planning, key working sessions, and the completion of accurate daily records and reports.
• Support the Deputy and Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and Childrens Homes Regulations 2015.

Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff members, promoting best practice and professional development.< / l...
