Paralegal - Clinical Negligence

Overview

We are recruiting a Paralegal to join the Clinical Negligence team in Manchester. This is a phone-based position, taking instructions on the phone from potential clients regarding their clinical negligence claims. You will support our fee earners and contribute to a range of matters within Clinical Negligence, such as obstetrics, orthopaedics, brain and spinal injury, and misdiagnosis. A basic understanding of the framework of clinical negligence law and a passion for this area of law are required. You should be confident on the phone, able to control the call, provide customer support, and show empathy. A graduate or GDL background is required. The role involves alternating shifts – 8am–4pm or 10am–6pm. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate empathy, maintain professional communication, and manage calls effectively.
• Work with a basic understanding of clinical negligence law and its framework.
