The role involves attending weekly Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and providing comprehensive administrative support. Responsibilities also include preparing patient proformas, organising meeting materials, and logging action plans. This includes preparing and circulating patient lists maintaining accurate records of meeting outcomes, ensuring data validation, facilitating MDT service improvements, and liaising with other Trusts for necessary patient information.
Responsible for monitoring waiting lists and capacity within a service, proactively acting upon issues and working with more senior managers and the clinical team to resolve them, in order to ensure access and quality targets are met for the service.

The Senior MDT Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and managing patient pathways to ensure efficient and timely delivery of care. This senior position involves leadership responsibilities, service development, and active contribution to projects and service improvement initiatives. The role supports the Service Manager in operational management and strategic planning to enhance patient outcomes and pathway efficiency.
