What You'll Do
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping to define, create, implement, and deliver the paid search and SEO strategy to grow the Michael Kors online business across our 50+ EMEA markets.
Paid Search Strategy
- Guide our agency daily to improve paid search and shopping campaign performance, with a strong focus on optimising budgets, bid strategies, product feed enhancements, ad copy, and account structure
- Build a global test & learn agenda for paid search with our agency
- Maintain up to date industry knowledge including the latest in privacy regulations and their impact in Digital Marketing, such as CAPI’s and consent mode
- Manage Total Search relationship between agency and any third-party vendors
- Review Market strategy for channel and best tactic mix to drive performance
SEO Strategy
Work with our agency to build a roadmap for organic traffic growthDrive improvements in Keywords growth, Local Search visibility, ensuring our brand is discoverable across all relevant platformsOwn on-page SEO strategies, including onsite SEO / AI enhanced articles, copy optimisation for category and product pages across all marketsManage Tech / backend enhancements for SEO with agency, web production and development team, including QA checksMonitor Core Web Vitals and oversee recommendations for improvements through to implementationReporting & Analytics
Produce Weekly / Monthly reporting to clearly articulate performance, reasons for results and action plans, with a laser focus on driving efficiency of marketing spendAnalyse performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve organic traffic and engagementInvoicing, Legal & Security
Manage invoices for relevant channels and third-party vendorsSupport contract renewals, onboarding and security clearance for new projectsCross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Brand, Design, Analytics, CRM & Retail teams across both the EU and North America offices to ensure activity is aligned where appropriate and to meet broader business objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO into content planning and digital initiatives with Site Merch & Web Production teamsBring your authentic self, experience, and opinion to deliver clear direction with our Digital Marketing Strategy, also supporting an inclusive and enjoyable workplaceYou’ll Need to Have
3-4+ years of hands-on SEM experience, ideally in retail or eCommerceSolid understanding of digital marketing KPIs, with the ability to derive insights and then turn them into action plansProven success managing large-scale paid search campaigns across multiple geographiesStrong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Ads, SA360, Google Search Console, keyword tracking and research tools such as Demand Sphere / SEM Rush / Ahrefs or similarExperience working with or managing external agenciesGood understanding of enterprise level analytics tools such as Adobe or equivalentDemonstrable written and verbal communication skills, able to present your ideas to senior management with clarity and confidenceWe’d Love to See
A team-player with good relationship-building and communication skillsAbility to prioritise responsibilities in line with business objectivesA level of technical understanding of how GenAi & LLM models work is desirableKeen interest in new developments within the online industry, including MTA and MMMUnderstanding of database segmentation & using CRM data for personalisationExperience using Jira or equivalent platformA sense of humour and desire to work in a dynamic and diverse workplaceMK Perks
