Head of Technology Transformation Architecture

DP World are currently recruiting for a Head of Technology Transformation Architecture who will be responsible for leading the architectural direction and execution of technology transformation initiatives across the Europe region. This role could be based anywhere within our Europe region with the expectation of relevant business travel when required.

About the Role

• Designing, implementing, and overseeing architectural frameworks that drive innovation, optimise operational efficiencies, and enable business growth. The position requires a deep understanding of emerging technologies, digital transformation, and business requirements, ensuring that technology systems and infrastructure are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with long-term corporate goals.
• Work closely with senior leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of transformative technology strategies, enhance user experiences, and drive business value through effective technological solutions.
• Lead technology transformation architecture within the Europe region (including Contract Logistics, Freight and Ports & Terminals).
• Act as the focal point in the Europe region for technology transformation architecture activities, coordinating with internal clients, gathering briefs, and planning and implementing solutions.
• Assess change impact and readiness and plan change activities to shift mindsets, skills, and behaviours.
• Lead supporting IT teams delivering tailor-made technology and digital solutions based on modern software platforms and business applications.
• Create an engaging, enabling, and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance during performance management cycles to facilitate professional development.
• Identify learning and growth needs of the team and facilitate opportunities for development.
• Assist with budget planning for Technology Transformation.
• Evaluate best-fit digital solutions and business applications based on business requirements, considering ready-to-go modern solutions and self-developed tailored solutions.
• Support the business in requirements definition using available digital solutions and business applications expertise.
• Develop scope, manage, and prioritise Transformation and Digitisation IT projects to ensure delivery on time and on budget.
• Maintain a catalogue of reusable digital artefacts to enable delivering the most suitable technology and digital solutions.
• Apply subject matter expertise to plan, design, implement, and deliver globally scalable technology and digital solutions following the software development lifecycle.
