Head of Housing Improvement, Regulation and Performance

Interim Head of Housing Change, Assurance and Performance – South London / Hybrid – £650–£750 a day (Umbrella)

A South London Local Authority is seeking an Interim Head of Housing Change, Assurance and Performance to lead a major transformation and improvement agenda across its housing services.

Role Purpose :

Working closely with the Chief Executive, corporate directors, and housing leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the Council Renewal Improvement Plan, the Mayor’s Business Plan, and embedding new ways of working across the directorate.

You will be directly responsible for leading the Housing Transformation Programme, identifying core areas requiring change and guiding the directorate through the process. The role will establish a new department focused on :

• Continuous improvement
• Resourcing and contract management
• Performance and complaints management
• Systems development
• Embedding good practice across all housing services
