The Role : Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Programme Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of two related strategic initiatives : eCommerce re-platforming and CRM. The role ensures successful programme delivery in terms of timescale, cost and scope, coordinating cross-functional internal and external teams to align outcomes with strategic objectives. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with Hybrid working (minimum 3 days per week in the office, up to 2 days per week remote). Ideal start is October.
Responsibilities
- Define programme goals, success metrics and benefits realisation plans
- Develop programme roadmaps and ensure alignment with organisational objectives
- Prioritise initiatives through stakeholder engagement and allocate resources effectively
- Plan and schedule programme deliverables, goals and milestones
- Oversee project managers and teams, provide guidance and remove obstacles
- Lead multiple projects within the programme and manage interdependencies
- Manage timelines, budgets, risks and issues and escalate where needed
- Prepare and deliver regular status updates, reports and presentations
- Act as primary contact point for stakeholders and communicate clearly with executives and team members
- Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders while managing needs and expectations
- Define and schedule resources for implementation, ensuring availability and allocation
- Establish and maintain programme governance and comply with policies, standards and regulations
- Conduct reviews, post-implementation evaluations and lessons learned sessions
- Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for programme delivery
- Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs
- Measure programme performance using appropriate systems and tools
- Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans
- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors
- Mentor and guide junior team members and cross-functional teams

Strong leadership and team management skillsBachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or TechnologyExperience in Senior Project Management and / or IT Management with successful project deploymentsStrategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plansStrong problem solving and decision-making capabilitiesProven ability in scheduling and budgetingExcellent communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to engage a broad range of stakeholdersCollaborative and proactive in managing priorities and workloadMulberry is an equal opportunities employer.
